Katie Porter is a board certified physician assistant (PA-C) with extensive experience in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Care.
She attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology - Athletic Training. She decided to continue her careerr by providing direct patient care and attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistance Practice and received her physician assistant board certification in 2014 by National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
Katie has lived in Roswell, NM for six years since relocating from Wisconsin to practice in the orthopedic specialty in southeast New Mexico. She is very excited to now provide quality orthopedic healthcare at Spine and Orthopedic Center of New Mexico P.C.
Through her continuing education, she has pursued an interest in treating osteoporosis and improving bone health. Katie Porter, PA-C will be the new provider champion for the Bone Health Program. She looks forward to building this program in order to provide a preventative and proactive medical program here in southeast New Mexico. Katie shares Dr. Osmani's goal of always providing our patients with excellent quality of care and making them the top priority.
Her special interests are equestiran vaulting with her daughter, giving back to the community by volunteeting as a leader for the Junior Pony Club Program and spending time outdoors hiking with her family and three dogs.
